Pakistani actor Neelam Muneer recently addressed circulating rumours about her departure from the entertainment industry following her marriage.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Muneer clarified her stance, stating, "There are too many rumours going around regarding me. Therefore I thought I should clarify and put misinformation to rest." She added, "Yes, I have gotten married and no, I am not leaving showbiz. Acting is my passion. How can I leave something that I love so much? God bless you all."

In January, Muneer tied the knot with Muhammad Rashid, a Dubai-based Pakistani officer working in the Crime Investigation Department of Dubai Police. The couple's intimate ceremony in Dubai garnered attention, with fans expressing both surprise and joy.

Speculations about Muneer's marital status had been rife prior to her surprise marriage announcement. In December 2024, she addressed these rumours during an episode of podcast Beauty Edit, stating she had no immediate plans for marriage. She remarked, "I don't have any plans for marriage at the moment. Let's see what happens."

In conjunction with recent personal milestones, Muneer has expressed enthusiasm about continuing her acting career. She conveyed gratitude for the support from fans and industry colleagues, stating, "I had a wonderful time away, but now I am back and excited to work with a fresh outlook."

In recent years, Muneer has been involved in notable projects. She starred in the dramas Ahram e Junoon and Pyar Deewangi Hai, which received positive reviews for their compelling narrative and her performance. Additionally, her roles in the films Chakkar and Chupan Chupai showcased her versatility as an actor.
