In a major blow for the Indian cricket team ahead of the Champions Trophy final, star batter Virat Kohli suffered an injury during a net practice session.

While training in Dubai ahead of their crucial final against New Zealand, Kohli was struck near his knee by a ball in the nets, forcing him to halt his session.

The team’s physiotherapist quickly attended to the injury, applying a spray and bandaging the affected area.

Despite experiencing mild discomfort, the coaching staff has downplayed the injury, labeling it as a minor issue.

Kohli remained at the ICC Academy session after the incident, suggesting the injury may not be serious. However, his condition will be closely monitored in the lead-up to the high-stakes final.
