Kanye West's social media misadventures continue, this time leading him into a bizarre situation involving an imposter posing as Joe Rogan.
On Friday night, West shared a text conversation with someone he believed was the popular podcaster, seemingly confirming plans for an interview to discuss his controversial comments about Jewish people.
The imposter, claiming to be uncomfortable with West's recent statements, expressed interest in having the rapper clarify his position on record. West was thrilled by the prospect of this discussion, announcing the upcoming conversation to his followers.
However, the real Joe Rogan quickly intervened, tweeting, "Hey Kanye West, I don't know who you're talking to, but that's not me."

This strange encounter adds to a pattern of online confusion for West, who has previously been tricked by a fan impersonating rapper Baby Keem.
Rogan and West have a history, with the rapper having appeared on Rogan's podcast in the past, where the podcaster notably defended West despite his controversial comments.
However, it seems that this time, West fell victim to a less-than-honest individual posing as Rogan.
