The game remained close throughout, with both teams trading leads in the fourth quarter. The Lakers had a chance to win in regulation, but Doncic missed a contested three-pointer at the buzzer.

The Lakers shot 42.7% from the field and outrebounded the Knicks 49-46. Their bench provided key contributions, with Dalton Knecht scoring 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting, while Jarred Vanderbilt added seven points and four rebounds.

With the win, the Lakers improved to 39-21 on the season, maintaining their push for a top seed in the Western Conference. The Knicks, now 40-21, will look to bounce back in their next game as they continue their fight for playoff positioning in the East.
