The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to introduce weekend stalls of well-known food chains and construct modern pedestrian tracks in Blue Area and Jinnah Super Market. Electric carts will be introduced for senior citizens and children in the Blue Area.
CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa held a meeting on Thursday. Board members and senior officials from relevant departments attended the meeting, which reviewed plans for a pedestrian track in Blue Area (G-7/F-7) and weekend food stalls.
He also directed the installation of digital screens at entry and exit points of the pedestrian track, while ensuring uniformity in shop signage design.
