Popular TikToker Dania Shah and her husband, Hakeem Shehzad Lohar Pahar, were involved in a car accident on Thursday that left one person dead and another injured, authorities said.
The couple's vehicle collided with a motorcycle carrying a husband and wife. The man was killed, while his wife sustained injuries. According to Hakeem Shehzad, the motorcyclist was speeding in the wrong direction and crashed into their vehicle.
"I was in the passenger seat, and the car was being driven by my driver," Shehzad said. "I lost consciousness due to a head injury and haven't fully recovered mentally."
Dania Shah, who was also in the car, escaped unharmed, while the vehicle suffered significant damage.
Videos of the wreckage circulated widely on social media, showing the extent of the damage.
Shehzad denied allegations of driving under the influence and vowed to provide financial assistance to the victim's family.
The accident follows a tumultuous few years for Dania Shah, who married Shehzad in 2024 after the death of her former husband, television personality Aamir Liaquat, in 2022.
