Lisa, a global K-pop star and member of BLACKPINK, is under fire after admitting she doesn’t like to sing, even at casual karaoke nights. The revelation has fueled long-standing criticism over her alleged heavy reliance on lip-syncing throughout her career.

During her recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa was asked if she sings when hanging out with The White Lotus cast. She bluntly responded: “I don’t sing. I feel weird grabbing the mic.” Instead, she prefers to cheer from the sidelines while others perform.

Fans immediately called her out, questioning how an idol with 10 years of experience in the music industry could be uncomfortable with singing.

The backlash intensified after reports surfaced that Lisa’s billionaire boyfriend, LVMH heir Frédéric Arnault, is allegedly issuing copyright strikes against accounts sharing the viral clip.

Lisa, who recently debuted her solo album Alter Ego, has often faced lip-syncing accusations, with critics claiming her live performances lack vocal authenticity. This latest controversy has reignited debates about singing standards in K-pop, particularly among top-tier idols.
