The 97th Academy Awards are set to take place on Sunday, celebrating the past year’s most acclaimed films and performances.

The ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, continuing the long-standing tradition of Hollywood’s biggest night. The event will begin at 4 pm PT (midnight GMT), with red carpet coverage starting 30 minutes earlier.

First-Time Host and Star-Studded Presenters

Comedian and former late-night show host Conan O’Brien will make his Oscars debut as the host of the 2025 ceremony.

He will be joined by an array of presenters, including last year’s winners—Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Other high-profile presenters include Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Willem Dafoe, Selena Gomez, Ben Stiller, and Oprah Winfrey.

Nick Offerman, best known for his role in Parks and Recreation, will serve as the show’s announcer.

Musical Performances

The ceremony will feature performances from several global artists. Wicked co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are set to perform, alongside Doja Cat, Lisa from Blackpink, Queen Latifah, and British singer Raye. The Los Angeles Master Chorale will also take the stage.

Where to Watch the Oscars 2025

In the United States, the Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC and available for streaming on Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV.

For UK audiences, ITV and ITVX will air the ceremony from 22:30 GMT. The event will also be broadcast in more than 200 territories worldwide.

The Dolby Theatre has hosted the Academy Awards since 2002, and this year’s ceremony promises a mix of Hollywood glamour, musical performances, and highly anticipated award winners.
