PCB announces ticket refunds for rain-cancelled Champions Trophy matches
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that ticket holders for washed-out matches during the ICC Champions Trophy will receive full refunds.
In a statement released by the PCB, the board confirmed that tickets for the two matches affected by rain in Rawalpindi would be refunded, as no play was possible in either game, Express News reported.
The matches in question were between Australia and South Africa on February 25 and Bangladesh versus Pakistan on February 27.
The PCB confirmed that no overs were bowled in either match, and thus, ticket holders would be reimbursed for the full value of their tickets.
Refund Process
However, ticket holders of hospitality boxes, including those for the PCB gallery and box seats, are not eligible for refunds.
Refund claims can be made at selected TCS outlets between 10 March and 14 March 2025. Claims submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
The following will be required for the refund:
- The original, undamaged ticket as proof of purchase.
The buyer must claim the refund in person at the TCS outlet; no one else can claim the refund on their behalf.
