Stray dogs create panic in Maymar

KARACHI:

An alarming rise in stray dog attacks has whipped up fear among residents of Gulshan-e-Maymar. The terrifying presence of packs of stray canines has created panic in the locality, particularly in Sector Z-6.

A recent incident of stray dog attack was caught on CCTV cameras. The footage shows a young man opening the gate of his house to exit. As soon as he steps outside, a dog waiting on the street lunges at him. He was only able to avoid the attack by quickly shutting the gate.

In another incident, a worshipper was attacked by a stray dog outside a local mosque but luckily he managed to escape without injury.
