
A tragic road accident occurred on the Riala Link Road near Murree, where a Toyota HiAce plunged hundreds of feet into a ravine, resulting in the deaths of three people, including the driver, while ten others sustained injuries. According to sources, rescue operations faced severe challenges due to heavy rain and darkness.
The Toyota HiAce, bearing registration number 4741, was traveling from Rawalpindi to Lahore when it met with the accident near Riala.
The van was fully loaded with passengers. Initial reports confirm that three individuals lost their lives, including the driver.
The deceased have been identified as Mehtab Hakmdad, Jabran Mubarak, and driver Muhammad Tanzeemall residents of UC Birot Khurd.
A large number of locals participated in the rescue efforts.
The accident took place near Union Council Plak Malkot, and the injured were transferred to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Murree.
Upon receiving news of the accident, local residents rushed to the site to assist in the rescue operations.
