Kristin Davis jokes she stayed with Alec Baldwin for his Hamptons home

Kristin Davis recently shared a surprising confession about her brief romance with Alec Baldwin in 2001—she didn’t want to break up with him because of his incredible house in the Hamptons.

During an appearance on Literally! With Rob Lowe, Davis, best known for playing Charlotte York on Sex and the City, candidly admitted that Baldwin’s wealth and luxurious Amagansett home made her reluctant to end the relationship.

"Alec Baldwin was so rich by the time I dated him—can I just say that straight-out?" Davis said. "One of the best things about dating Alec was his incredible house in Amagansett."

She even turned to SATC co-star Sarah Jessica Parker for advice. “I was like, ‘Sarah Jessica, I don’t know if it’s going to work out with Alec, but I just really love that house,’” she recalled, calling the realization “embarrassing but true.”

Davis’ admission came after Lowe asked about another past romance in which she lent money to an unnamed actor in the ’90s, only for him to ghost her. While she didn’t name the person, she confirmed it wasn’t Baldwin.

Davis, who reprised her role as Charlotte in And Just Like That, continues to share behind-the-scenes Hollywood stories on her podcast Are You a Charlotte?, keeping fans entertained with her candid revelations.
