According to a Hollywood Reporter cover story on the drama surrounding Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's It Ends With Us, sources revealed that Ryan had been "extremely active" in the past few weeks, attempting to rally support among his Hollywood peers.

Following the New York Times report, Justin, 41, was dropped by the WME agency, which also represents both Ryan and Blake.

Justin's production company, Wayfarer, which he co-founded with Steve Sarowitz, was also cut by the agency.

This comes after Blake and Ryan's surprise return to the spotlight at last Sunday's SNL50: The Anniversary Special, which generated a lot of buzz from fans.

The event, celebrating the 50th anniversary of NBC's SNL, was attended by numerous A-listers, including Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Bill Murray, Leslie Jones, David Spade, and Jon Lovitz.

However, as the show ended, marking the couple's return to public life amid scandal and ongoing legal issues, many social media users had critical remarks about Lively attending her first red carpet event in two months. She had not appeared publicly since the *It Ends With Us* controversy erupted late last year.

During the broadcast, Reynolds made light of the scandal with Baldoni in a skit alongside Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Reynolds stood up from the audience with Lively and replied to a question with, "Great - why, what have you heard?" in a humorous reference to the ongoing media frenzy about the troubled film production.

On social media, the public response was quick, with many commenters feeling that the powerful couple was using their influence to shift public opinion in their favor after months of negative press.
