Federal authorities have identified the hacker who aired an AI video of Trump kissing Musk’s feet on HUD’s screens and are considering legal action.

The manipulated video, which displayed the message “LONG LIVE THE REAL KING,” was broadcast at HUD’s headquarters on Monday, shocking employees. According to The New York Post, HUD officials quickly regained control of the system and are investigating how the hacker managed to infiltrate the agency’s network.

A HUD spokesperson confirmed that the individual was escorted off the premises and that potential legal consequences are being explored. The agency is also considering suspensions or terminations of certain services related to the breach.

The video comes amid growing tensions between Musk and federal workers. As head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk has pushed aggressive cost-cutting measures, including a reported $1.9 billion recovery at HUD from alleged mismanaged funds during the Biden administration. His directives, such as requiring federal employees to submit weekly accomplishment reports, have sparked backlash.

The AI deepfake scandal adds fuel to ongoing political debates, with some critics attempting to drive a wedge between Trump and Musk. However, both men have dismissed such efforts, with Trump recently telling Fox News that Musk called him to discuss the situation, reaffirming their alliance.
