Elon Musk slams Wisconsin Governor’s gender-neutral language proposal: 'This Is Crazy!'

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has taken aim at Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’ proposal to introduce gender-neutral language in state laws, calling it “crazy.” The outspoken entrepreneur shared his thoughts on X, mocking the initiative with a sarcastic post: “Hi Mom, I mean ‘inseminated person.’ This is crazy!!”

Evers’ budget proposal for 2025-2027 suggests replacing traditionally gendered terms with neutral alternatives. Some of the proposed changes include swapping “mother” for “inseminated person,” “paternity” for “parentage,” and replacing “husband” and “wife” with “spouse.”

The initiative has drawn sharp criticism from conservatives, with many accusing the governor of erasing biological distinctions.

Republican figures were quick to denounce the proposal. Wisconsin radio host Dan O’Donnell labeled the changes “beyond parody,” while Senator Mike Lee of Utah warned, “red flag!” The Republican Governors Association (RGA) also condemned the move, with its executive director, Sara Craig, stating: “Being a mother is the greatest privilege I will have in my lifetime. If Tony Evers can reduce motherhood to an ‘inseminated person,’ then our society is lost.”

Musk doubled down on his criticism, calling the terminology “messed up.” His stance aligns with that of former President Donald Trump, who has actively opposed gender-neutral language and transgender-inclusive policies.

Earlier this year, Trump signed an executive order titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.” He also issued another directive, “Keeping Men out of Women’s Sports,” to ban transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports.

The controversy has reignited the national debate over gender identity and political correctness. As the push for inclusive language gains traction in some circles, figures like Musk and Trump continue to challenge its implementation, fueling division between progressives and conservatives on the cultural battlefield.
