'Boy Meets World' podcast turns heated as Maitland Ward accuses co-stars of ‘grilling’ her

Maitland Ward clashed with Boy Meets World co-stars on Pod Meets World, accusing them of grilling her for ratings.

The latest episode of Pod Meets World took an unexpected turn as former Boy Meets World star Maitland Ward confronted her ex-co-stars over past tensions. Co-hosts Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle welcomed Ward to discuss the show’s history, but the conversation escalated into accusations and emotional exchanges.

Ward, who has since transitioned to the adult entertainment industry, claimed Fishel distanced herself from her on the set of Girl Meets World and even unfriended her on Facebook. “I think that you hate me because you wouldn't speak to me,” Ward said. Fishel denied any ill intent, explaining she had been dealing with challenges on set and later apologized.

The discussion took another sharp turn when Ward accused the podcast hosts of grilling her for ratings. “Are you trying to accuse me of using you?” she asked. Fishel pushed back, suggesting Ward had spoken negatively about the cast in past interviews.

Ward also alleged there was a divide between the original cast and Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs, which the hosts strongly refuted. Strong defended their past critiques of Jacobs, saying, “If I’m talking about Michael yelling at me, that’s my experience.”

Despite the tense moments, the episode ended with an apology from Fishel and an open invitation for Ward to return to discuss a season seven episode in the future.
