
The Capital Development Board (CDA) Board has approved the allocation of land for the National Police Academy (NPA) to establish a Police University, the implementation of the SAP accounting system to bring transparency to the Authority's financial matters, and the transition of various CDA payments to a cashless system.
The decisions were taken at a meeting of the CDA Board, chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa with all board members in attendance. Various agenda items were discussed during the meeting.
Approval was granted for the allotment of land to the NPA to establish the Police University. The Board also approved the implementation of the SAP (SAP) accounting system for better management of CDA's financial affairs. The meeting was informed that the SAP accounting system would be a double-entry accounting system. It was further shared that the CDA would sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Controller General of Pakistan next week to implement the SAP system.
During the CDA Board meeting, it was decided that a detailed record of all CDA assets would be compiled.
