Drake and PartyNextDoor’s collaborative album Some Sexy Songs 4 U has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, knocking Kendrick Lamar’s GNX from the top spot.

The album earned 46,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. this week, according to Luminate, marking PartyNextDoor’s first No. 1 album and Drake’s 14th. This achievement ties Drake with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums by a solo artist, trailing only The Beatles, who hold the record with 19.

Lamar’s GNX, which previously led the chart following his Super Bowl performance, moves down to No. 3 this week. However, two of his past albums—2017’s Damn and 2012’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City—have surged back into the top 10, ranking at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively.

Some Sexy Songs 4 U also recorded the biggest streaming week of 2025 so far, with 287.04 million streams. The record had been held by GNX, which debuted at No. 1 on the Dec. 7, 2024, chart with 379.72 million streams.

Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet moves up to No. 2 with 156,000 equivalent album units following the release of its deluxe edition on Feb. 14. The reissue features five new songs, including a remix of “Please Please Please” with Dolly Parton.

With Drake and PartyNextDoor claiming the top spot, and strong performances from Lamar and Carpenter, the Billboard 200 remains highly competitive in 2025.
