Love seems to be in the air in Lollywood these days, with several celebrities tying the knot.

Just recently, we saw Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed’s wedding celebrations, followed by Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani's big day. So, it’s no surprise that fans have been eagerly speculating who the next celebrity couple will be.

The latest buzz has been about Ahmed Ali Akbar, the charming actor famous for his role in Parizaad, and his rumored marriage to content creator and lawyer Maham Batool (@heytheremayhem).

While Maham isn’t in the limelight like many of her celebrity peers, the duo’s rumored wedding has sparked immense curiosity.

Although there was no official confirmation initially, fans caught glimpses of the couple’s big day through sneaky, leaked photos and videos from the event.

Despite the online excitement, there was little information available about the wedding, leaving everyone wondering.

Yesterday, the couple decided to share the first official photos of their nikkah in a joint Instagram post. The beautiful images captured the essence of their intimate ceremony, and both fans and industry colleagues were overjoyed to finally see them in high-definition.

Ahmed posted a heartfelt caption, calling Maham his “Heart, My Life 💜 My Peace, My Home 💍.”

However, what followed soon after raised a few eyebrows. In a clear and firm statement, Ahmed added a public service announcement requesting that no one—be it individuals or online publications—reshare their wedding images or videos, including those they posted themselves.

The couple emphasized their right to privacy, writing, "We do not consent to the publication or posting of any images or footage from our events.”

Naturally, this raised some questions from fans who were unsure about the request.

"That xtra note was not needed," remarked one fan. Yikes!

But as with all matters of privacy, it’s important to respect their wishes. After all, they’ve made it clear that their celebration is something personal, and people should honor that.

The announcement didn’t deter industry friends, who poured into the comment section to congratulate the couple. Mansha Pasha, Yumna Zaidi, and Osman Khalid Butt all sent their well wishes, with Mansha even apologizing for not being able to attend the wedding.

"Welcome to our crazy family!," said Osman Khalid Butt.

The lovely couple's wedding has certainly been a moment of joy, and we can’t wait to see how their journey together unfolds.

As love continues to flourish in Lollywood, let’s respect the couple’s request and celebrate their happiness from afar.
