Fans speculate yet another cross-border collaboration is in the works after actor Hania Aamir and Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh posted photos of a starkly similar location. The two, who are both currently in the UK, have not crossed paths publicly as of late. However, attentive fans have reason to believe that the two might be working on a project together.
Posing in a cosy setting, Diljit sported casual clothing and smiles in the carousel posted on Instagram on Tuesday. So far, nothing to suspect, until you swipe to the very end and find that the 41-year-old artist has sneaked in a photo of a scenery.
On its own, the photo doesn't indicate much. However, hawk-eyed observers quickly drew a connection between his grid post and Hania's Instagram Story of a line of similar-looking trees. Referring to Taylor Swift's album, Hania remarked, "What in the evermore is this?"
"Hania Aamir's recent Story showed the same location," a fan wrote. "Woah, your eighth slide and Hania's story post are eerily similar - are you two plotting a collab or just sharing a brain?" another user asked the Punjabi singer.
"Hania and Diljit collab before GTA 6?" one fan mused, while another pleaded, "Hania, please just tell us that you have a project with Diljit sir."
Some enthusiasts even took this as an indication that Hania will be starring in the third instalment of Sardaar Ji opposite Diljit. "Hania, best of luck working on the film with Diljit! May your acting be fire. May you have fun shooting it. Don't forget to teach Diljit some of your amazing moves. Break a leg (not literally, please)!" a fan wrote under the Janaan actor's grid post.
The artists have yet to confirm if any collaborative project is underway. However, fans remain excited at the prospect of seeing the two together again.
Concert shout-out
Back in October, Diljit Dosanjh's O2 Arena concert in London saw not only a passionate-as-ever crowd, but also a radiant Hania Aamir amongst the fans. But that's not just it. As evidenced by a viral clip circulating on social media platforms then, the singer extended the actor an opportunity to climb up on stage and view the audience with him. Hania gladly obliged, mounting the steps with Diljit by her side and happily greeting and thanking the audience.
The performer later posted highlights from the show to his Instagram handle - a carousel featuring the famed Pakistani actor. In one photo, Hania stood grinning brightly in a swarm of enthusiasts as she gazed up at the stage in awe, her palms pressed to her chest in wonder. Even the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum star shared a reel from the concert on her Stories, tagging Diljit and calling her experience "Magic."
Later dedicating a full carousel to the night, she wrote in romanised Urdu, "I'm never going to recover." In the caption, Hania couldn't help but marvel at the events of the night, as she thanked both the performer and his team for extending a warmer welcome than she had expected.
"The love, the respect, the soul. Impeccable. Diljit sir, there's only one heart, how many times will you win it?" she wrote. "Love and only love. An honour to have come across so many beautiful souls. Truly memorable. Thank you for all your love and warmth."
