Netflix has officially renewed The Lincoln Lawyer for season 4, with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returning as defense attorney Mickey Haller.
The upcoming season, based on Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence, will see Mickey facing his most personal and challenging case yet—his own murder trial.
Season 3 ended on a shocking cliffhanger, with Mickey being pulled over by the LAPD for a missing license plate, only to have officers discover a dead body in his trunk. The victim, identified as con artist Sam Scales (Christopher Thornton), sets the stage for a dramatic legal battle that will unfold throughout season 4.
Co-showrunner Ted Humphrey teased that the season premiere will reveal the key details of Mickey’s predicament, including the charges and new adversaries he will face in court. Joining the cast is Constance Zimmer as ruthless prosecutor Dana Berg, while returning series regulars include Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Neve Campbell.
Production for The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 is already underway in Los Angeles, but Netflix has yet to announce a release date. The series, which originally debuted in 2022, remains one of the platform’s most successful legal dramas.
Fans can catch up on The Lincoln Lawyer seasons 1-3, now streaming on Netflix, before the highly anticipated fourth season arrives.
