The excitement surrounding the highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has reached new heights, with tickets for the February 23 match in Dubai selling out within record time. The initial batch of tickets was  snapped up within just one hour of release, driven by a massive demand from cricket fans across the globe.

In response to the overwhelming interest, the International Cricket Council (ICC) quickly announced the release of additional tickets. However, these tickets also sold out within 90 minutes, with fans rushing to secure their seats for the historic encounter.

According to reports, between 20,000 to 30,000 fans competed online for a chance to attend the match, making it one of the most sought-after events of the tournament.

Ticket prices for the Champions Trophy ranged from 500 dirhams for standard entry to 12,500 dirhams for premium seats. The higher-end tickets were also quickly sold out, alongside those in the 1,000, 1,200, 2,500, and 5,000 dirham price brackets.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will officially begin on February 19 with the opening match between defending champions Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi.

India will kick off their campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh before facing off against their traditional rivals, Pakistan, in Dubai on February 23.

Due to ongoing political tensions, India will play all of its matches in the UAE under the ICC’s hybrid model for the tournament, while the other matches will be held in Pakistan.
