Bailey’s journey began when she was first diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in early 2023 at the age of 24.
After undergoing multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, her condition worsened, progressing to Stage 4 with peritoneal metastasis—cancer spreading to the lining of the abdominal cavity.
Despite these challenges, Bailey continued to share her life with her followers, spreading awareness about the importance of early cancer diagnosis.
In a heartbreaking post shared on Instagram on February 8, her husband, Caden Hutchins, announced Bailey’s passing, expressing his grief and celebrating her strength. “I’m devastated to say that my Bailey B has passed away last night,” Caden wrote. “She fought such a tough, incredible fight these past two years, and she’s no longer suffering from all the torturous pain she has endured during this journey.”
He went on to describe how being her husband and caregiver was a blessing, despite the pain of losing his best friend. “Your faith could move mountains, Baby, unfortunately, God had bigger plans for you Up Above. Until we meet again.”
Caden also shared an emotional video on Bailey’s TikTok account, announcing her passing. “Last night our Bailey B passed on to Heaven,” he said. “Although we selfishly wanted her here forever, we are at peace knowing that she no longer has to endure any pain or suffering.” This video was widely shared, with over 7.4 million views, and was met with an outpouring of love from her followers.

This past month+ has been an absolute devastating nightmare for Bailey as well as our families. Bailey fought so hard these past 2 years. It’s been an incredible journey to watch and I am so honored to be your husband and caregiver. Her spirit is as radiant as the sun. Bailey is such a light, and we plan on continuing to let it shine on. Myself, and our families will share her platform to tell stories about great memories and knowledge passed on to us from B. She was and always will be such a spark to so many, her story will live on. -Caden #coloncancerawareness
