The Prince and Princess of Wales have publicly celebrated Valentine's Day for the first time, marking a significant moment for the couple.
They shared a heartwarming photo of Prince William kissing his wife, accompanied by a heart emoji in the caption.
The image was taken from a video released by Kensington Palace in September, where Kate announced that she had completed chemotherapy.
Filmed on the Sandringham estate by Will Warr, the video depicted William and Kate enjoying time with their children in the Norfolk woodlands and on the beach.
In several rare moments of public affection, the couple was seen holding hands on a picnic blanket, with the Princess resting her head on William’s shoulder.
William also leaned in to kiss Kate’s neck while she giggled, capturing their intimate moments.
The past year has been incredibly challenging for the Wales family, especially with Kate’s cancer diagnosis, though she announced in January that she is now in remission.
William and Kate have shown more public affection, with the Prince sharing a heartfelt birthday message for Kate in January.
In the touching social media post, the father-of-three wrote: "To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W."
Kate had previously described William as her "great source of comfort and reassurance" when she first revealed her cancer diagnosis in March.
Similarly, for William's 42nd birthday last June, Kate posted a message that read: “Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx," alongside a playful family photo of William jumping over sand dunes with their children.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary later this year.
