During his official visit to Pakistan on Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif with a model of Turkey's homegrown electric vehicle, Togg. Erdogan gifted the T10X model Togg SUV in Islamabad as part of his three-nation Asia tour.

The two leaders took time to chat before posing for a picture in front of the green-coloured vehicle. The car’s unique color is inspired by the lush Ayder highlands, located in Erdogan’s hometown of Rize, on Turkey’s Black Sea coast.

In a symbolic gesture, Erdogan joined PM Shehbaz in the passenger seat as the PM took the electric SUV for a spin. The moment was captured in a photograph that emphasized the growing relationship between the two nations.

Pakistan was the third and final stop of Erdogan’s Asia tour this week. Earlier in the week, Erdogan visited Malaysia, where he gifted a similar Togg vehicle to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. On Wednesday, he presented another Togg to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
