ICC Champions Trophy kicks off on the 19th of February, with a nail-biting affair as hosts Pakistan take on New Zealand.
The match will take place from a new-look National Stadium in Karachi, which has seen massive renovation in preparation for the event.
PCB released a time-lapse video capturing the incredible transformation of Karachi’s National Stadium into the newly inaugurated National Bank Arena.
The renovation, completed in record time of 120 days, included a reconstructed pavilion, new seating, modern LED lights, and enhanced facilities.
Fences were also removed for a better fan experience, and accessibility improvements were made with a new ring road and pedestrian bridge.
The grand inauguration on February 11 featured live performances by Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga, alongside a breathtaking fireworks and light show.
