Tuesday night saw thrilling action continue in this season's UEFA Champions League playoffs.
Guirassy netted his 10th goal of the Champions League season as Borussia Dortmund secured a 3-0 victory over Sporting.
His 60th-minute header brought him level with Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski for the most goals in a single European Cup or Champions League campaign by a Dortmund player.
He later assisted Pascal Gross, while Karim Adeyemi sealed the win with a counter-attacking finish.
Sporting, winless in five Champions League matches since Ruben Amorim's departure, missed key chances.
Maximiliano Araujo hit the crossbar, while Conrad Harder, Francisco Trincao, and Joao Simoes were denied by Gregor Kobel. Viktor Gyokeres, returning from injury, struggled to make an impact off the bench.
The second leg is scheduled for 19 February.
In France, Dembele extended his remarkable scoring run as PSG defeated Brest 3-0.
The forward, who now has 18 goals in his last 11 games, struck twice after Vitinha's penalty opener. Despite Brest hitting the woodwork twice, PSG remained dominant.
Dembele was substituted in the 82nd minute, missing a chance to become the first player since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017 to score back-to-back Champions League hat-tricks.
PSG’s victory strengthens their bid for a last-16 spot, with the second leg in Paris on 19 February. If they advance, they could face either Liverpool or Barcelona—Dembele's former club.
Meanwhile, Juventus secured a 2-1 first-leg win over PSV, with Samuel Mbangula scoring a late winner.
Weston McKennie opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a long-range strike, but PSV equalized through Ivan Perisic after a VAR review. Mbangula, introduced at half-time, capitalized on a goalmouth scramble to restore Juventus' advantage.
Juventus previously defeated PSV 3-1 in the group phase, and the second leg will take place at Philips Stadion on 19 February.
Also in Tuesday's standout fixture, Real Madrid added to Manchester City's continuing woes with a 3-2 win away from home. The two sides play at the Bernabeu next week.
