Kendrick Lamar is set to create the title track for Captain America: Brave New World, marking his second collaboration with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Actor Anthony Mackie confirmed the news in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, revealing that Lamar has recorded a new song, rumored to be titled Brave New World. The song will be released on all streaming platforms.

Marvel Studios has already been using Lamar’s hit N95 to promote the film across various media platforms. This collaboration comes at a high point in Lamar’s career, following his performance at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, where he performed Not Like Us, Humble, and All The Stars. While in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, Mackie noted that Lamar’s involvement adds to the film’s momentum.

Captain America: Brave New World marks Mackie’s first solo film as Sam Wilson, taking on the mantle of Captain America. Unlike his predecessor, Wilson does not possess the Super Soldier Serum, making his journey distinct. The film will focus on his leadership, strategic skills, and resilience while exploring themes of legacy, identity, and heroism.

The movie will also feature familiar faces, including Carl Lumbly as a forgotten Super Soldier and Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres, who will take on the role of Falcon. The film promises intense action sequences alongside political and social themes, reminiscent of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

With Marvel Studios hinting at major developments, Brave New World could be a turning point for the MCU.
