Two people were killed, while a woman was injured in separate incidents of violence on Wednesday.

In the first incident, unknown assailants entered the house of Raees and opened fire at him and his wife while they were sleeping. As a result, Raees died on the spot, while his wife was seriously injured. In another incident, Akhtar Bibi was killed over a petty dispute.
