The Burj to Burj race in Dubai saw exceptional participation from Pakistani runners, who showcased remarkable endurance and speed in this highly competitive event.
Fahad Mukhtar and Sherry Anjum clocked an impressive time of 1 hour and 35 minutes, while Sara Lodhi followed closely with a time of 1 hour and 37 minutes.
Other Pakistani participants, including Yawar Siddiqui, Muhammad Babar, Semeena, Maeenuddin, Fawad, and Sanya, also delivered strong performances, further establishing the presence of Pakistani talent in international running events.
Additionally, Pakistani couple Shahid Nawaz and Shazia Shahid, both over 60 and based in Dubai, delivered an inspiring performance, proving that age is no barrier to sports.
The Burj to Burj race brought together runners from around the world. As an annual event with high participation, the outstanding performances of Pakistani runners serve as an inspiration for athletes, encouraging more Pakistanis to take up the sport and represent their country on international platforms.
