Travis Kelce turned heads before Super Bowl 59 for his quirky style. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end arrived at Caesars Superdome in a red Amiri Fall 2025 suit, a shimmery blouse, and aviator sunglasses, leading fans to compare him to a 1970s movie character.
Some joked he looked like a “’70s porn star”, while others said he had a “Starsky & Hutch” vibe.

Kelce’s hairstyle also became a talking point, with some fans suggesting he underwent a hair transplant or got a custom wig from Turkey, a country famous for hair restoration surgery. Social media users fueled rumours of a cosmetic enhancement.

While some fans loved the bold look, others felt it was too over-the-top. Fashion critic Rachel Tashjian weighed in, saying: "I love Amiri, but this is not the right vibe for a defending Super Bowl champion tight end!"
Unfortunately for Kelce, the Chiefs’ suffered a 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, fueling rumours about his retirement. Despite speculation, Kelce has not confirmed any retirement plans, saying before the game: "Hopefully, I’m still playing football. I feel like I’ve got a lot of good football left in me."
With his NFL future uncertain, Kelce’s growing media presence—his podcast with Jason Kelce and his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift—could open doors beyond football.
