Blake Lively is reportedly taking a low profile after Taylor Swift excluded her from the 2025 Super Bowl guest list, ahead of Sunday's game, as exclusively revealed by DailyMail.com.

The two friends' decade-long relationship has been questioned recently after Swift got caught up in Lively's ongoing legal battle with *It Ends With Us* co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

In his $400 million defamation lawsuit, Baldoni accused Lively of using Swift's name to control the 2024 film production, even allegedly calling Swift her 'dragon' in a text exchange.

A source exclusively told DailyMail.com that Lively, 37, never planned to attend Super Bowl LIX because she didn't want her personal issues to overshadow Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s big night.

"Taylor is not shading Blake or is she trying to teach her a lesson. It isn't like that. Even if Taylor did invite Blake, Blake would not come," the insider shared.

"She would never want to make Taylor's big night – where she is going to see the love of her life play in another Super Bowl – about her. Blake would not want to overshadow Taylor ever."

As for what's next for Lively, the actress may soon have to return to public life to promote her upcoming movie Another Simple Favor, according to an insider close to the production.

The Amazon Prime Video film is a sequel to A Simple Favor (2018), starring Lively and Anna Kendrick, with Paul Feig returning as director. It is scheduled to be released in May 2025.

"Blake may have to do promotional work for Another Simple Favor due to contractual obligations unless they decide that it is best for her not to," the source explained.

Currently, Lively is staying at her and husband Ryan Reynolds' New York City home with their four children but knows she cannot avoid the public forever, according to the production source.
