Fake Encounter Case: Hearing adjourned due to revision plea

ADSJ Muhammad Sheraz Kiani fixed September 26 as the next date of hearing and adjourned the proceedings.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday adjourned the proceedings of the fake encounter case as a revision petition by the suspected officials was pending before the Lahore High Court. ADSJ Muhammad Sheraz Kiani fixed September 26 as the next date of hearing and adjourned the proceedings. DSP Riasat Bajwa, Sub Inspector Muhammad Riaz and Constables Muhammad Asif and Abdul Qadir have been accused in the extrajudicial killing of a robbery suspect in Nishtar Town area. The murder case was registered against these officials after an inquiry into the incident by Chuhng Police Training School (PTS) principal DIG Major (r) Mubashir Ullah.
