Taylor Swift is “not angry” at Travis Kelce after he called it an “honour” to have Donald Trump attend the upcoming Super Bowl, according to DailyMail's sources. While Kelce’s neutral stance upset many Swift fans, insiders say there has been “no blowout” between the couple over his remarks.
During a pre-game press conference, Kelce was asked about Trump’s presence at the Super Bowl and responded, “It’s awesome. It’s a great honor, I think, no matter who the President is.” While he never directly mentioned Trump’s name, fans felt he should have been more supportive of Swift, given Trump’s past insults toward her.

The controversy arose as Donald Trump reignited his feud with Taylor Swift in September 2024 after the singer publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in the presidential election. Following her statement on Instagram about her voting choice and criticism of AI-generated misinformation falsely linking her to Trump’s campaign, the former president took to his platform, Truth Social, and posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
The blunt and shocking statement quickly went viral, with Swift's fans, known as Swifties, rallying in her defense. Many viewed the post as a reflection of Trump’s long-standing animosity toward the pop star, which dates back to her political activism during his presidency.
Despite the backlash, sources claim Kelce was trying to remain neutral, as some of his teammates support Trump. Another insider added, “He just wants to get to the game, win, and move forward without any craziness.”
