President of the International Human Rights Movement Women's Wing Syeda Yasmin Shah has strongly condemned the alleged kidnapping of 13-year-old Benazir Shah from Gharo.
Shah appealed to higher authorities to take immediate action and recover the girl, providing protection to her family.
According to Benazir's father, Syed Altaf Shah, his daughter was forcibly kidnapped at gunpoint by Abdul Rehman Punjabi and others. Despite filing a complaint and registering an FIR at Gharo police station, the police have failed to recover Benazir, sparking fears for her safety due to the involvement of influential individuals with criminal records.
Syeda Yasmin Shah urged the Chief Minister of Sindh, IGP Sindh, and other officials to intervene and recover Benazir immediately. If the girl is not recovered soon, her family and supporters reserve the right to peaceful protest, criticising the police's inaction as a "silent spectator" in the case.
