Dry weather continues across Punjab
The Meteorological Departmen (PMD) said that Punjab will continue to experience dry weather, characterised by hot days and cool nights, for the next two to three days. In cities like Lahore, morning fog is decreasing, and nights are becoming clearer.
Due to the ongoing dry spell, the intensity of heat during the day has increased, while the nights remain relatively cooler.
The minimum temperature recorded in Lahore this morning was 7°C, with a maximum of 24°C expected.
Other areas in Punjab are experiencing similar dry conditions, with no significant changes predicted in the immediate future.
Meanwhile, across the country, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most regions during the next twelve hours.
However, light rain, wind, or thunderstorm with light snow over hills is forecasted for isolated places in Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In terms of temperatures recorded this morning, major cities reported the following: Islamabad and Gilgit at 4°C, Karachi at 13°C, Peshawar at 7°C, Quetta at -2°C, Murree at 1°C, and Muzaffarabad at 6°C.
As for the weather in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy skies with light rain and snow are expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu will experience partly cloudy and cold conditions.
