Drake is back and ready to prove he’s not going anywhere. The 6 God kicked off his highly anticipated 2025 "Anita Max Win" tour in Australia on February 4, with a show in Perth marking his first performance in the region since his 2017 Boy Meets World tour.
The opening night was nothing short of dramatic, with Drake making a grand entrance on stage wearing a black hoodie riddled with bullet holes and smoke streaming from his back. It was a bold, dramatic entrance that immediately got people talking, but for some fans, the visual was just too perfect.
After Kendrick Lamar's dominating win at the 2025 Grammys, which included top honors like Record of the Year and Song of the Year, Drake’s entrance had social media buzzing.

The visual, paired with the instrumental of his hit "Over My Dead Body," seemed to symbolize Drake’s resilience in the face of past rap feuds, notably his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar. As the smoke cleared, Drake took the mic and made it clear: "My name is Drake. I started in 2008, I came all the way from Toronto, Canada," he said. “The year is now 2025, and Drizzy Drake is very much still alive."

The "Anita Max Win" tour, named after Drake's alter ego introduced in his December 2023 Kick stream, is inspired by his love for gambling, with the name serving as a pun on the phrase "I need a max win."
This tour will see him playing a 16-date run across Australia and New Zealand, with stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. It’s clear Drizzy is still on top, with no signs of slowing down.
