Paige DeSorbo discussed the recent end of her relationship with Craig Conover during the February 3 episode of her 'Giggly Squad' podcast, offering new insights into their breakup after three years together.
The 'Summer House' star addressed rumors of infidelity and provided a detailed timeline of their split, making it clear she was not unfaithful.
DeSorbo confirmed that the couple broke up during Thanksgiving weekend at the end of November. Despite their separation, Conover continued with his promotional appearances for 'Southern Charm,' acting as if they were still together. DeSorbo mentioned that she gave him the space to process the breakup in his own way, while she handled it privately.
A month later, DeSorbo texted Conover to inform him that she would be publicly announcing their split on the 'Giggly Squad' podcast. She noted that he did not respond to her message, which indicated he was still coming to terms with the breakup.
The 'Summer House' star also addressed cheating rumors that had been circulating. She made it clear that she had never cheated on Conover, saying, “No one was blindsided. No one was cheated on. I never physically cheated on him, emotionally cheated on him.”
She further emphasized that she hadn’t moved on with someone new, despite rumors linking her to sports agent Joe D’Amelio after they were seen together at a Philadelphia Eagles game in early January. Additionally, she denied claims of cheating with 'Saturday Night Live' actor Marcello Hernandez.
Amanda Batula, DeSorbo’s friend and co-star, defended her against the cheating rumors, calling them “ridiculous.” She also criticized Conover for not addressing the situation publicly. In contrast, Conover’s friend Austen Kroll suggested on 'Watch What Happens Live' that the rumors of DeSorbo moving on were true.
When DeSorbo initially revealed the breakup on her podcast a month ago, she expressed a desire to remain friends with Conover, describing him as “the best boyfriend” she ever had. She wished him the best, stating she would always support him.
Conover finally addressed the split on January 7 through an Instagram story, stating that he was “very shocked” by the end of their relationship, which, according to him, occurred “right before the holidays.”
