A series of text exchanges between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, along with initial friendly interactions with Ryan Reynolds, offer a revealing look into their now-deteriorated relationship.
One message allegedly shows Lively texting Baldoni: "It's my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth," in a flirty discussion about a steamy scene in It Ends With Us. She also repeatedly refers to herself as a "ballbuster."
In another exchange, Baldoni reassures Lively that she will look "amazing" in "body scenes," after she requested they be scheduled for the end of filming.

Currently engaged in an intense legal battle, Baldoni’s team launched a website displaying conversations between him, Lively, and Reynolds, detailing their interactions from January 2019 to January 2024.
The documents contain 168 pages of emails, texts, and WhatsApp messages, mostly between Baldoni and Lively, along with some striking conversations with Reynolds.
One exchange reveals Reynolds telling Baldoni that he and Lively are "big fans," and later expressing admiration by saying, "I happen to adore you, Justin."
During filming, Lively invited Baldoni to rehearse lines with her while she was pumping breast milk in her trailer. She also confided in him about her desire to lose more weight before filming began and stated that she felt "safe" discussing things openly with him.
In another message about a romantic scene, Lively told Baldoni: "You're the absolute best. Thank you."
There were also messages where Lively praised Baldoni’s decision to hire an intimacy coordinator, a professional who ensures that actors are comfortable while filming intimate scenes.
According to the documents, in April 2023, Lively invited Baldoni to fly back to Los Angeles with her and her children on a private jet so they could continue working on the film together. The trip also allowed Baldoni, who was homesick, to visit his family.
However, by July 2024, tensions had escalated, with Baldoni claiming that Reynolds was now calling him a "deranged predator." By August, the film’s release was marked by Lively and Baldoni’s absence from joint red carpet appearances and interviews.
These text exchanges highlight how their relationship initially appeared cordial before turning into the ongoing legal dispute.
