Kai Cenat and Kanye West finally meet at 2025 Grammy Awards

Twitch sensation Kai Cenat finally met Kanye West during his IRL livestream at the 2025 Grammy Awards, fulfilling a long-awaited goal.

The streamer had previously teased fans about his plans to attend the event and interact with major celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and West himself. On January 31, Cenat announced he had been officially invited to stream from the Grammys red carpet, giving him full access to the star-studded arrivals.

At around 1 hour and 44 minutes into his stream, Cenat spotted Kanye West and Bianca Censori making their way toward the red carpet. Excitedly whispering, "He's right there!" the streamer prepared himself for the encounter.

As West approached, Cenat confidently greeted him with, "How you doing, Ye? What's going on broski? I'll be seeing you bruv, yes I will see you tonight." The brief interaction saw the two exchange a hug before West continued into the venue.

The moment was especially significant given Cenat’s previous tensions with West. The two had a minor online dispute, but things appeared to be smoothed over when West sent Cenat a handwritten note wishing him a Happy New Year last month.

Fans watching the stream noted Cenat’s excitement leading up to the meeting, with the streamer anxiously repeating, "Ye's about to come here. Ye's about to come. Oh my god, Ye's about to come!" before finally approaching the rapper.
