Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is facing intense backlash after a viral clip showed him and his friends pushing and kicking a $70,000 humanoid robot during a livestream. The footage, which quickly spread across X (formerly Twitter), left many viewers disturbed by the apparent "bullying" of the AI-powered machine.

In the video, Cenat, alongside fellow streamers Agent00 and Fanum, repeatedly knocked the robot down, prompting it to struggle in its attempts to stand back up. Eventually, the humanoid was seen "fleeing" the scene, seemingly trying to escape the abuse.

Fans and critics alike expressed their disgust, with many highlighting the unsettling nature of the behavior. Most found the behavior to be a deeper reflection of power dynamics and a lack of empathy.

Cenat has yet to respond to the backlash, but this is far from his first controversy. The popular Twitch streamer, who boasts over 16 million followers, previously sparked outrage with a "hanging prank" that many found deeply inappropriate. In 2023, he was also at the center of a Union Square riot after a PlayStation giveaway turned chaotic.
