Rakhi Sawant knows how to catch attention. Her claim to fame this time? Announcing she will marry Pakistani actor Dodi Khan.

The Bollywood star is no stranger to declaring her love for all things Pakistani. (She is also no stranger to marriage, as this will mark her third wedding, as per The Economic Times.)

Earlier this month, Rakhi challenged Hania Aamir, Nargis and Deedar to a dance-off. Via Instagram, Rakhi followed up her dance challenge by posting a clip of herself standing next to a tall wall of suitcases at what she says is Lahore airport, declaring her intention to move in with Hania. With a completely straight face, she also asks Hania to clear her wardrobe to make space for said pile of suitcases.

Having reportedly collected Rakhi from the airport in Lahore, Rakhi's beau Ghabrana Nahi Hai actor Dodi also took to Instagram, posting a clip asking tongue-in-cheek whether he should send the baraat party to India (Rakhi's country of origin) or Dubai (her country of residence).

"I love Pakistani people, and I have always prayed that I marry a Muslim man," said Rakhi in an earlier interview with journalist Ambreen Fatima. "My wedding will be in Pakistan, and it will be an Islamic ceremony."

Backing up her love for all things Pakistani, Rakhi has claimed that her most devoted followers on TikTok are Pakistani. Rakhi has previously gone public for her disdain with the Indian ban on TikTok, and even went as far as to challenge Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over it.

However, Rakhi is now looking towards the future with her longed-for 'maulana type' partner. "I want a maulana type," Rakhi insisted. "I want a man who prays five times a day and visits Haram regularly."

As for how she will navigate her future burgeoning family, Rakhi confessed to having not pondered over that just yet. "I haven't thought about the kids or where they will be born, or their nationality, or if they will be born in Pakistan or India" she admitted.

Whichever cross-border pathway Rakhi takes, one thing is certain: her social media announcements detailing her life will be as entertaining as ever.
