TikToker Ash Trevino’s explicit mirror selfie goes viral

Ash Trevino, a TikTok content creator known for her relationships with incarcerated individuals, has sparked a new wave of attention on X (formerly Twitter) since January 26. 

The Texas-based personality, dubbed the "crazy inmate hopper" or "prison inmate dater," gained notoriety for her habit of dating inmates. This recent surge in attention, however, stems from an incident that has left many disturbed.

Trevino's latest controversy began after a semi-nude mirror selfie was posted to her Instagram Stories, showing her in only her underwear with the caption, "Miss my old body." 

The exact date of the post is unclear, but it quickly circulated online, catching the attention of people on X. Many users expressed their surprise at encountering the photo unexpectedly, leading to questions from those unfamiliar with Trevino about what had happened.

Trevino had previously trended during TikTok’s temporary shutdown on January 19, but her latest post has sparked new backlash. Described by YouTuber Salem Tovar as "TikTok's messiest and craziest inmate hopper mom," Trevino has been criticized for neglecting her two daughters, who are reportedly raised by her mother due to CPS involvement. Additionally, she has faced accusations of exaggerating or fabricating aspects of her life, including faking a pregnancy.
