Rakhi Sawant, the Bollywood actor and model known for her candid and bold persona, has revealed her intention to marry in Pakistan, citing the positive responses she received during her recent visit.

In an exclusive interview with Times of India, Sawant shared her thoughts on cross-border marriages and the possibility of finding love in Pakistan.

“I have been getting many proposals,” Sawant said. “When I visited Pakistan, people saw how I was harassed in my previous marriages. I will definitely select one prospect.”

She added, “Indians and Pakistanis can’t do without each other. I love Pakistani people, and I have many fans there.”

Sawant, who has always been open about her personal life, shared further details about her potential suitor, Dodi Khan.

Describing him as both an actor and a police officer, she revealed that their wedding would take place in Pakistan with Islamic rituals.

“Wedding will be in Pakistan with Islamic rituals. Reception will be in India, and we’ll go to Switzerland or the Netherlands for our honeymoon. We will settle in Dubai,” Sawant said.

Reflecting on the cross-border marriage of Indian tennis legend Sania Mirza to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, Sawant expressed admiration for her decision, though she refrained from commenting on the reasons behind her own past divorces.

“Marriages between Indians and Pakistanis symbolise unity,” she stated, highlighting how these unions have the potential to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Sawant's own marriage history has been in the public eye. She was first married to Ritesh Raj Singh, with whom she appeared on Bigg Boss 15, but their marriage ended in February 2022, shortly after the show.

Sawant later married businessman Adil Khan Durrani, but that marriage also ended in divorce, with Sawant accusing him of extramarital affairs.

Born Neeru Bheda on November 25, 1978, in Mumbai, Sawant is known for her energetic dance performances in Bollywood films and her appearances on reality shows such as Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye.
