Former Danity Kane member D. Woods has come forward with allegations about her time working with Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming she was treated “like a piece of meat” during their professional relationship.

In an interview with ABC News, Woods addressed her accusations against Combs, who is currently facing federal charges for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution.

Woods, 41, described her experiences with the 55-year-old Combs as troubling, stating that his actions played a role in both the rise and fall of her career. As a member of the girl group Danity Kane, formed in 2005 on MTV’s *Making the Band*, Woods accused Combs of employing manipulative tactics, frequently shifting between criticism and praise.

"Somebody constantly treating you like a piece of meat, only seeing, only valuing you for your sex appeal. In some of the environments, it was even scary to be by yourself."

Discussing her experiences in the Investigation Discovery docuseries *The Fall of Diddy*, Woods reflected on the degrading treatment she endured, saying, “I found myself in dark, predatory spaces, hearing some of the most demeaning comments.” She told ABC News that she often felt objectified, valued only for her physical appearance, and unsafe in many situations.

Woods also claimed that Combs created a verbally abusive work environment. When asked why she chose to speak out now, she stated, “It’s less about why now and more about why I couldn’t speak earlier. I feel this is the moment where my truth will be heard, considered, and believed.” She added, “Staying silent hasn’t changed anything.”

While acknowledging Combs' influence, Woods referred to him as a “community hero” she once admired, commenting, “Many don’t want to believe their hero could be someone different behind the scenes.” When asked what she would say to Combs, she replied, “I don’t know if words are necessary. Holding my head high is enough.”

Combs’ legal team has denied the allegations, describing them as baseless. In a statement, they criticized the documentaries for capitalizing on a “media circus” and accused them of not allowing enough time or detail for a rebuttal. They maintained that the accusations were fabricated and expressed confidence that the judicial process would expose the truth.

A source close to Combs described the allegations as disappointing and exaggerated, stating that *Making the Band* was a reality show where dramatization was often used for entertainment purposes. The source emphasized that decisions made during the show were intended to promote professionalism and ensure success.

Combs is currently detained at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center while awaiting trial in May. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Danity Kane, created during *Making the Band 3*, originally consisted of Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, and Woods. In 2008, escalating tensions led to Combs removing both O’Day and Woods from the group.

In September 2024, former member Dawn Richard filed a federal lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of a decade of sexual and verbal abuse. She also alleged that he owed her $3.5 million in unpaid wages, royalties, and tour earnings.
