A close associate of Cassie Ventura, who accused Sean "Diddy" Combs of abuse, has spoken out about the alleged tumultuous relationship between the two, which led to a series of legal troubles for the hip-hop mogul.

Mylah Morales, a celebrity makeup artist who worked with the "Me & U" singer, recounted rescuing Ventura after a violent confrontation with Combs. Morales shared her account during the premiere of ID Discovery's "The Fall of Diddy," a four-part docuseries delving into the "harrowing allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity" recently brought against Combs.

According to Morales, the alleged incident occurred during the weekend of the 2010 Grammy Awards. While staying at The Beverly Hills Hotel with Ventura, Morales claimed that an enraged Combs barged into the room searching for Ventura, after which the two stepped away to argue.

Morales stated that when Ventura returned from the confrontation, she appeared visibly injured, with "knots on her head, (a) bruised eye" and a "busted lip." Morales said she contacted a doctor friend to care for Ventura, noting that neither the police nor the hospital was involved due to fear.

"We were scared off Puff. We were always scared of him," Morales said. "If we called the police, what would happen? He's a very powerful person in the business, and he can do things that will make you go away. And many people are afraid of him till this day."

When producers of "The Fall of Diddy" reached out for comment, representatives for Combs responded: "Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court the truth will prevail: that the accusations against Mr. Combs are pure fiction."

Ventura's lawsuit against Combs in November 2023, which was settled within a day, opened the floodgates to multiple accusations of sexual assault and physical violence. These allegations ultimately led to Combs' arrest in September 2024 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.
