Grant Ellis, the star of The Bachelor Season 29, has captivated audiences with his charm and looks, but fans online are raising questions about his career as a “day trader.” Conversations on Reddit reveal growing skepticism about the stability and legitimacy of his profession, with some doubting if it’s even a viable job.

Ellis' ABC bio highlights his passion for the “fast-paced world of finance,” but fans remain unconvinced. Under the r/thebachelor sub-reddit, one user commenter pointed out inconsistencies, saying, “Calling it the ‘finance field’ sounds off—it’s not something professionals say.”

Others criticized the job itself, with one user stating, “Day trading isn’t a real career. It’s closer to gambling than an actual profession.” Another fan remarked, “If he were really successful, he’d be a hedge fund manager or running a family office, not just day trading.”

Fans also speculated that his flashy introduction on the show, which featured a sports car, hinted at Forex trading, often associated with risky investments.
