West Indies completed a commanding 120-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test of the series, leveling the two-match series 1-1.

Chasing a target of 254, Pakistan struggled against the West Indies’ spinners, who put on an outstanding performance throughout the day.

Resuming at 76/4, Pakistan hoped to stabilise their innings but quickly found themselves in dire straits. The West Indies bowlers, led by Jomel Warrican and Kevin Sinclair, applied relentless pressure.

Sinclair struck early, dismissing Saud Shakeel for 13, which reduced Pakistan to 76/5. The situation worsened when Kashif Ali was dismissed for just one run by Warrican, leaving the hosts at 76/6.

A brief resistance came from Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha, who put together a 39-run partnership, offering some hope to Pakistan’s faltering chase. However, Warrican broke the stand by removing Salman for 15. Rizwan’s innings came to an end shortly after, dismissed by Warrican for 25, leaving Pakistan at 122/8 in the 41st over.

Noman Ali’s brief attack, which included a six off Motie, ended quickly when he was dismissed for just six. Sajid Khan, the last man in, was bowled out by Warrican for a duck, securing the West Indies' first Test victory in Pakistan since 1990.

Warrican’s match-winning performance included figures of 5/27, while Sinclair claimed 3/61 and Motie took 2/35, with their spin bowling proving too much for Pakistan to handle. This dominant performance followed West Indies’ strong efforts on Day 2, where Pakistan were reduced to 76/4 in their first innings, with early wickets from Sinclair and Motie.

Pakistan’s batting failure began with their openers, Shan Masood and Muhammad Hurraira, both dismissed cheaply for just two runs each. Babar Azam and Kamran Ghulam provided some resistance, with a 43-run third-wicket partnership, but West Indies’ spinners continued their dominance, with Warrican dismissing Ghulam for 19 and Sinclair removing Babar for 39.

This historic win for West Indies, powered by their spin attack, marks a significant achievement in their Test cricket history.

Earlier, Pakistan's spinners dominated in the second innings, dismissing West Indies for 244.
