A 12-year-old girl was killed due to aerial firing at wedding at Fancy View Apartments in Sohrab Goth.

Azila, daughter of Sabz Ali, who was watching the gunfire from her balcony, was struck by a bullet to the chest, proving fatal.

Upon receiving the report, a squad of Sachal police station reached the spot and arrested two suspects, identified as Khanzada, son of Hashim Ali, and Jamal Shah, son of Sarwar.

The girl's father, Sabz Ali, shared that he works as a ticket vendor at a bus terminal near Al-Asif Square in Sohrab Goth. He was informed that a wedding procession had arrived at the Fancy Apartments from another city. As the groom's family departed with the bride, they began celebratory gunfire, during which his daughter was tragically struck. Upon hearing the news, he rushed home and took his injured

The deceased girl was a fifth-grade student. The frequency of aerial firing incidents in Karachi has become alarming, with police efforts to curb this dangerous practice appearing insufficient.
