A video of former Pakistan fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif meeting during an event in the United States has been widely shared online.

At the event, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif were seen greeting each other and shaking hands, marking a moment of reconciliation after past disputes.

The reunion brought back memories of an incident in 2007 when Shoaib Akhtar struck Mohammad Asif with a bat before the World Cup. Following the incident, both players were sent back home from the squad.

Both cricketers have previously mentioned that the dispute involved Shahid Afridi. Shoaib Akhtar, in his autobiography, and Afridi, in various statements, indicated that a disagreement during a light-hearted moment in the dressing room led to the altercation.

The reunion has prompted discussions among fans, who recalled the contributions of the two players in securing significant victories for Pakistan during their cricketing careers.
